Baptism

If you or your children wish to be baptised then please contact the vicar via the church office.
Baptism is about making a commitment to Christ and the church as individuals and families. In view of this it may be necessary that some preparation sessions are held prior to baptism in order for you to be clear about the ceremony and what it entails.

Christ Church holds four baptism services a year on particular Sundays during the months of February, May, July and November. These are on set Sundays and held within the context of a normal morning 10:40 service. Baptism services are not conducted on any other dates or times.

It is advisable to speak to the vicar as early as possible to ensure that family and friends can make the particular Sunday and there is sufficient time for preparation.
