One child was so delighted to see the blue huts put up for the builders - "the church has been built!" Dad very gently explained ...

This week the diggers moved in - lots of action and noise. The old foundation slab has been smashed up including one part that was under the grass - there was a previous bit of the Lighthouse which was taken down years ago. Piles of rubble everywhere, some being removed by truck, but very purposeful builders.

some gravelly stuff  now being laid down ... don't know why yet.

Builders moved in last week. I was so fascinated watching things progress from my window that I wanted to start blogging.

The first act was putting up fences and bringing in their (blue) loos, offices and catering etc. Two storey no less.

Not much else to report but one delivery came to the Vicarage by mistake ... a huge box of teabags, a broom handle and a bucket. I'll try to post the photo.
